  • How do I qualify for the Vybe credit card?
    Have a working, good condition smartphone. That's it... No, really.
  • How long does it take to apply and activate the Vybe credit card?
    The application and activation takes less time than it is to make a TikTok or post on Instagram, guaranteed. Once approved, you will receive your Vybe Credit Card in the mail.
  • Are there any hidden fees?
    Nope. The only fees we charge include the annual $30 ($2.50/month) fee, any charges you’ve made to your card, and applicable interest if your charges aren’t paid in full monthly. There are no late fees.
  • What will my credit line be?
    If you have a good-condition, working smartphone, your initial credit line will be $200.
  • Did you check my credit score?
    Nope. Your smartphone qualifies you. Your credit history and score don't matter.
  • When I load the Vybe software to my smartphone to activate my account and credit card, will Vybe have access to my texts, pictures, locations, and other personal data?"
    No. Vybe will NEVER have access to or be able to view anything on your devices that you don't give permission for.
  • If I miss a payment, do I lose my smartphone?
    If you miss a payment or pay late, you will NOT lose your smartphone. Our goal is to help you in your journey to building credit easy, and we want to support you every step of the way. A missed payment will simply prompt us to give you two reminders to pay your minimum monthly payment, in which after we will then restrict the full functionality of your device to only emergency services calls. As a last option to payments that absolutely cannot be paid, we can assist you as a lien holder in selling your phone for market value, in paying off the outstanding balance, and in remitting the remaining balance back to you. Keep in mind that your monthly minimum payment will always be far, far less than paying for a replacement phone.
  • How many days do I have to pay my credit card bill?
    You will be billed every 30 days. This is called your Billing Cycle. Your credit card payment is due 21 days after the day your Billing Cycle ends.
  • How is Vybe different from other secured credit cards?
    We DON'T require an upfront cash deposit. We DON'T run a credit check. We DON'T require you to attach a bank account for verification or automatic payment withdrawals. We DO have a money back guarantee if your credit score doesn't increase. We DO report your on time payments to all 3 credit bureaus. We DO review your account regularly for upgrades to unsecured credit cards.
  • Is it an actual credit card?
    Yes, the Vybe Visa/MasterCard credit card is a standard interest rate credit card that will help you build credit.
  • How does Vybe make money?
    We make money two ways: interchange fees and interest.
  • What is a credit score?
    A credit score is a number between 300–850 that depicts a consumer's creditworthiness. The higher the score, the better a borrower looks to potential lenders.
